Welcome to Montana Free Form Furniture. We have been building furniture for 30 years using mostly Flathead Lake cherry from northwestern Montana. The grain and character of this beautiful wood dictate the shape of each piece, and everything is a one of a kind. This heavy, dense wood has a character all its own. I use a Tung oil finish for a soft natural look that is easy to maintain. This finish brings out the natural colors of red, yellow, green, white, and occasionally blue. Due to a limited supply of cherry, we are only offering smaller pieces for sale at this time. We are currently building handmade cherry computer tables and desks with cherry chairs that are upholstered with deer hide, which ranges in color from buckskin to dark brown. We are also building cherry coffee tables, cherry end tables, and a variety of other freeform furniture featuring a live edge. We also build a variety of burl furniture.
